US-based maker of natural hummus, Tribe Mediterranean Foods has announced the launch of its four new flavors of hummus in new green packaging.

Tribe Mediterranean said the company has unified its product lines under a single design and package, making it easier for consumers to spot the favorite flavours and view the hummus inside.

Tribe also produces three varieties of 100% organic hummus that will now be available in new 8oz containers with green lids. Select flavors are also available in 16oz sizes.

Tribe Mediterranean Foods president and chief tribal officer Carlos Canals said not only the packaging will feature a consistent green colour for all varieties, the new 100% recyclable container also allows the company to save more than 200,000 pounds of plastic from entering landfills each year.

The four new products include Cilantro Chimichurri, Olive Tapenade, Savory Mushroom and Mediterranean Style.

Tribe is also offering its Mediterranean Style, Cilantro Chimichurri, Olive Tapenade, Zesty Spice & Garlic, and Spicy Red Pepper Hummus in a larger 16oz tub, in conjunction with the new packaging.
